L'imprimerie is hiring a bread / pastry baker (https://www.instagram.com/limprimerie/) We are a community bakery in Bushwick providing a welcoming and positive experience to all our community members. With quality-focused, locally-sourced ingredients, we create artisan bread, French viennoiseries, sandwiches and serve Sey coffee. Candidates should have a great deal of respect for their craft and be willing to learn and grow in a small, hands-on and fast-paced environment. This is a small 5 bakers team. We are committedto using local farms for our dairy and much of our produce. Including sourcing wheat berries, rye and buckwheat from upstate farms and milling in-house. Experience in European artisan style bread and in traditionalviennoiserie a bigplus. This position involves shifts beginning at 2am and candidates must be prepared to organize their schedule accordingly.Compensation basedon experience and skills, as well as performance during trail.
